Read the state before the setup

A practical guide to WATCH, confirmation, execution and lifecycle outcomes.

WATCH is a hypothesis

A base, compression or pattern can be worth observing without meeting the release gates. Pending is not a recommendation to enter early.

Confirmation is time-sensitive

A verified state needs fresh evidence for the correct symbol and timeframe. It can expire when data goes stale or price leaves the entry zone.

Pre-entry versus post-entry

Invalidation before an actual entry is not a realized stop-loss. Likewise a chart target touch is not proof of a filled account trade. Review both statistics separately.

Use the original context

Check symbol, side, timeframe, entry zone, invalidation and structural targets. Never copy a number without checking the saved setup and current market.
